*COT (Personal Jesus)*
“The lyrical content of the songs, if you want to stick them to me and say
‘these are Johnny Cash,’ then I’m part good and part bad but I’m redeemed.”
-Johnny Cash
*Discussion:* CashQ day one was all about how hard it can be to “Walk the
Line” straight to heaven. How Cash had to run a “half mile at a time” and
touch somebody to share the struggle–*reach out to your brothers*! Day
two was all about redemption. This is the introspective, “personal” Jesus
(or the personal relationship therein). Above all, Cash stood out as
someone who reached high highs and low lows, but always and often very
publicly, brought it out into the light and reached out for forgiveness and
redemption. Seek the light and be open and honest with those who love you
and can help. You may not live a life free of the bad, but you can always
strive to be redeemed.
*TAPS:* @Harbaugh, we love you and are thinking of you always! Prayers
went out to Diopter’s brother and family as the look to turn the page and
move on to bigger and better things. Thoughts to all those who struggle in
silence; may they find a light in the darkness.
