Lessons Learned:

1. Discussing options to keep PAX together but also enable PAX to push
themselves. Waypoints may be added. (I have a call with Strummer from
F3 Gears Lake Norman later today to discuss some ideas and how they operate)

*COT:*

I’ve been reading The Stress Effect: Why Smart Leaders Make Dumb Decisions
– And What To Do About It (Henry L. Thompson aka Dick). It is written by a
former Army Special Forces during Korea and Vietnam. He is from Walhalla,
SC. During my reading I came across a section that remind me of D2X (Freed
to Lead).

From the book, “This is American, after all, the land of opportunity. “You
can be anything!” we tell our children. But is that really the truth? Can
anyone be a fortune 500 CEO? Can anyone be the lead of a Hollywood studio?
Can anyone lead a platoon, a ballet company, a high school, a town council?
Of course not. But telling our children, “Well, you probably can’t be
anything … but you can be great at something!” doesn’t exactly hit the
right note. And especially in the professional world, holding to the idea
that not everyone can make it to the top smacks of elitism or social
hierarchies, making many people, including those in charge of identifying
and managing leaders, uncomfortable.”

Finding (or understanding) and acting on our Dolphin (our gift) and the
Daffodil (what people-category that a man is born to serve with his
dolphin) will lead us to being great at something.
