5.5 of the muggiest miles this PAX has experienced.
Rolling COT: This was very similar to my message in the COT yesterday.
We need to start the healing process now of division that has taken over
F3. We need to #F3fortify ourselves against division. I asked the PAX to
discuss how we can fortify ourselves going forward. How do we heal from
this when we have so many different beliefs? I submitted my thoughts as
follows:
Pastor Chris @ Coastal Community Church said this past Sunday “In Christ we
are not just equal. In Christ, we lift up those around us above ourselves.”
This led me to The Word; “Make my joy complete by being like minded, having
the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of
selfish ambition or vain conceit, rather in humility *value others above
yourselves*, not looking to your own interests, but each of you to the
interests of others.” – Philippians 2:2-4
This is a message of unity. I care more about my brothers and their
friendship than your stance on current events. I submit this is the way
forward, the love our brothers more than we love ourselves.
The PAX had many great suggestions and insights. I truly appreciate the
wisdom of these men!
