COT:

Today is my 5th year anniversary in F3. I showed up at my first workout in a very sad state. After more than a thousand workouts, many CSAUP’s, relationship building, being mentored, mentoring, and introspective learning, I can honestly say that F3 has catapulted me to another level. My goal has always been to develop the leadership characteristics that I was lacking. What I have learned is that when something feels uncomfortable, it means that there is some personal resistance to the subject or situation at hand. The key is recognizing the feeling and asking oneself "Why it is that I feel this way?" From a leadership perspective, some men never take the chance because they never take the first step forward because it’s risky and they haven’t developed the skill of self-realization. As men, we are used to the action/reaction paradigm that has been ingrained in our self-preserving evolutionary development. So my message is to use F3 to help you break through difficult things so that you will become accustomed and experienced at feeling discomfort. This is the truest path to leadership and being able to give yourself, your love, and your time to those around you. Also, know that there are no boundaries to learning and self-realization, so stay open-minded and empathetic so that no doors are closed to your ability to grow. Keep pushing forward and never stop!

SYITG,

Diopter
